Privacy at Pow2

Effective August 28, 2026

Pow2 is a free browser puzzle. You can play without creating an account or providing an email address. This notice explains what is stored when you use the game.

Necessary game data

Pow2 stores data needed to run the game and remember your choices, including:

Preferences and progress are stored in your browser. Anonymous authentication and rankings use Google Firebase. Ranking display names and scores are visible to other players. Pow2 does not require your real name.

Optional analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics,” Pow2 uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand visits and game usage. Events may include opening the game, starting or finishing a game, score and mode, opening the rules, changing language, and using a share button. Google Analytics may also process a random client identifier, browser and device information, and approximate location derived from the network connection.

Analytics is not used for advertising, and Pow2 does not send your ranking display name or email address to Analytics. You can play normally with analytics disabled.

Service provider

Google provides Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Google Analytics for Firebase. Learn how Google processes data on its Business Data Responsibility and Firebase privacy pages.

Your analytics choice

Change your choice at any time. Choosing necessary storage only stops Analytics on future Pow2 visits.

Deleting data

You can remove locally stored preferences and identifiers by clearing site data for pow2.net in your browser. To request removal of a ranking entry or ask a privacy question, contact takuma.nishimaki@gmail.com.
